Yep that’s us. Kimberly Barber and Courtney James. And this is all about us. Well, all about our shared love for all kinds of DIYness. Don’t you love how DIY can become a noun, a verb, an adjective?
We met a couple years ago through our part time gig – working for the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, NC. We are both members of the Eye Care Associates Storm Squad, which is a promotions and fan development team. It is such an amazing opportunity to be able to work hand and hand with this organization and we love supporting our team and fans. We are very active in the community as well and do everything we can to promote the best part of the NHL. We both love doing it and are even more excited that such a great friendship was formed through this opportunity. Our shared interests expanded to great depths when we both realized how much we love to entertain. We bonded over crafting and throwing a brunch and a hoe-down themed party for our hockey friends. It is easy to find us planning, DIYing (see there it is again), and entertaining as it is such a great passion for us. And it is so great to be able to do all of this with a friend you love! J
